JCPRD offers over 4,200 programs each year, engaging more than 2.7 million participants throughout Johnson county. The district manages a range of state-of-the-art facilities, including two fully turfed softball complexes, two multipurpose fieldhouses, a sports dome, ten football fields, 18 soccer fields, five multi-purpose fields, 33 softball/baseball fields, and more.

Okun Fieldhouse
Located within the Mid-America West Sports Complex, is JCPRD's 56,500-square-foot indoor sports facility featuring 4 basketball courts, 8 volleyball courts, and concessions.
Okun hosts a wide variety of adult and youth basketball and volleyball leagues, tournaments, camps and special events.
Mid-America West Sports Complex
Mid-America West Sports Complex (MAWSC) is one of Johnson County's premier sports complexes. This family friendly complex is equipped with twelve outdoor grass youth softball fields, concessions, paved pathways and netted area open space. The sports complex is also a host facility to many of the JCPRD youth softball leagues, regional tournaments, and youth sports camps.
Mid America Sports Complex
Mid-America Sports Complex sits on 70-acres and has become one of the elite artificial turf facilities in the country. The complex plays host to a variety of softball leagues, baseball leagues, baseball camps and national and regional softball tournaments. Built in 1991 and acquired in 1994 by JCPRD, the complex finished a complete renovation in 2023 which includes artificial field turf, new lighting, playground, designated warm up area, hitting tunnels, and Fanzone.
New Century Fieldhouse
New Century Fieldhouse features a large indoor turf field that can be utilized for a variety of field sports and activities. The fieldhouse has over 40,000 sq. ft. of court space that can be setup in a variety of configurations including 8 volleyball courts, 4 basketball courts, and 4 futsal courts. The fieldhouse features a large multi-purpose room and 4 party rooms for meetings, parties and other special events. NCF is here for all your tournament, recreational, and practice needs year-round.
Roeland Park Sports Dome
The Roeland Park Sports Dome is JCPRD's 24,000 square foot, air-supported sports dome. It provides a variety of recreation opportunities for adults and youth. At the dome, JCPRD offers fun, year-round adult recreation sport leagues in volleyball and basketball. The Roeland Park dome also offers basketball, volleyball, and futsal court rentals to teams, schools, clubs, individuals, and corporations.

How do I register for programs or leagues?
Our ProgramsYou register online through the JCPRD website. Early registration is encouraged as spots fill quickly.
When can I expect the Practices and Schedules to be released?
Practices typically start 2 weeks before the games begin. That information will either be added to the TeamSideline App/TeamSite, or communicated to you by your coach via email/phone.
Schedules are typically released 3-10 days before the start of the season. If using the app, you will receive an automated email once the schedule is available to view.
What happens to events in bad weather?
Rainout LineIn case of severe weather, outdoor events may be rescheduled, moved indoors, or canceled. The most up-to-date infomation will always be on our "Rainout Line". You can also call 913-686-6030.
